How to use Delete Bulk Charges in iGovServices

In this Knowledgebase (KB) Article it will walk you through the process of deleting bulk charges that have been applied to iGovServices. 


 

You will learn:


        How to locate the Delete Bulk Charges function and delete desired charge lines that were applied to accounts incorrectly within iGovServices. 



First you will need to be logged into iGovServices

 

On the black navigation bar to the left in iGovServices, navigate to:


Dashboard→ Admin → Delete Bulk Charges

 
(If you do not see this menu item, please contact your administrator to provide the appropriate rights)




On the black navigation bar located to the far left of your screen, click the Dashboards button and then the Admin Button as shown in the image above by the red arrow. 




Click the Delete Bulk Charges button as shown in the image above by the red arrow. 




Enter the date due which is shown in the image above by the red box. This date must be the same date that is on the current charges for the desired accounts. 


Enter the date originated, which is the date that the charges were put on the accounts, this field is shown in the image above by the yellow box. 


The Batch Number is optional if you have a specific batch that you want to enter do so, but again it is not mandatory. 


Using the dropdown choose the application that match the charges you want to delete, for example, Property, Utility, License etc. 


Click Submit





A list of the charge lines will populate below in the Sample Bulk Utility Charges portion of the screen. 


Click the Delete Charges button, which is shown in the image above by the red arrow.  

To make sure that the lines have been deleted after the process has completed click the submit button again and it should show them cleared away. 


Those charge lines have now been deleted from the system.
