In this Knowledgebase (KB) Article it will walk you through the process of Moving out a customer and making final a utility account within iGov Services
You will learn:
- How to move out a utility customer and finalize that account.
First you will need to be logged into iGov Services
On the black navigation bar to the left
In iGov Services, navigate to:
Dashboard → Utility Meter
(If you do not see this menu item, please contact your administrator to provide the appropriate rights)
Click the Move Out Final button as shown in the above image with the red arrow.
Enter the Pidn of the desired account that you wish to move out and click the Get PIDN info button.
The contact information will appear for the account on the move out final screen. If the information is correct Enter the Move out date and click the Complete Move Out button.
The Success screen will appear when move out is complete.
IF the contact information on the Move Out Final screen has Null in any of the fields the following process must be done.
First you will need to be logged into iGov Services
On the black navigation bar to the left
In iGovServices, navigate to:
Help -> Getting Started
(If you do not see this menu item, please contact your administrator to provide the appropriate rights)
Click the Create Location data. This should correct the Null issue. If not contact iGovServices Support.
