In this Knowledge Base (KB) article you will be shown how to enter a security entry for a new employee (User) within iGov Services.
Note - Not only can you create a new security entry but by clicking delete on the desired entry you may also delete an entry on the Employee Security scree,.
First you will need to be logged into iGov Services
On the black navigation bar to the left
In iGov Services, navigate to:
Settings →Security → Employee Security
(If you do not see this menu please contact your administrator to provide the appropriate rights)
On the black navigation bar click setting and select the Employee Security as show in the image above.
To begin the process on the employee security screen click the Add Employee button located in the upper right corner of the screen as indicated by the red arrow above.
On the upper half of the Account Info screen, enter your user name and the desired password Twice, the password and then the confirm password.
On the lower portion of this screen fill in the First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Phone Number and Role. They are mandatory fields that must be filled in. That is indicated by the Red Asterisk.
Note - Normally in a smaller office everyone would have a role of Admin but you may also choose other rolls under role dropdown as shown in the image below.
Keep in mind when choosing any role other than Admin the user may have limited access to some functions within the software.
As for the Application Filter it is best to leave it with nothing selected because it you have multiple applications within iGov Services then the user would only have access to the one application. That would limit their productivity.
You can click ok or just let the count down finish and the screen will disappear.
You will now notice that on the Employee Security screen the new uses name is visible as shown by the red box above.
