How to Extract Assessment Data from iGovServices

Modified on Fri, 31 Mar, 2023 at 11:45 AM

During the Property Tax import process there are two main ways to receive data within an excel spreadsheet. The first way is to receive the data from the county or other third party vender and the second is to extract the assessment data from your iGovServices software.

You will learn how to create a spreadsheet with your Property Tax Assessments to be used for your yearly property tax import.

First you will need to be logged into iGovServices

On the black navigation bar to the left in iGovServices, navigate to:

Dashboard → Property Tax  → Export Assessment

(If you do not see this menu item, please contact your administrator to provide the appropriate rights)

On the black navigation bar located on the far left of the screen, select dashboard as shown above by the red line, and then click the property tax button as shown by the red arrow.

The Property Tax Dashboard is the next screen and you will click the Export Assessment button as shown by the red arrow above.

Fill in the Tax year, and then by using the dropdown select the group. The group is broken up into groups of 600. So if there were more than 600 assessment there would be more groups.

The spreadsheet that is produced is the entire assessment table for the tax year that was entered. You may get rid of any extra, unnecessary fields and you may have to change the TAX_YEAR field to the current year.

If you have any questions submit a ticket from your iGovServices landing page. You will notice a green icon located in the lower right hand corner labeled HELP.
