Common Errors & Issue Can’t Print a Duplicate Bill

Modified on Tue, 3 Jan, 2023 at 11:20 AM

Scenario: You are trying to reprint a bill(s) but it won’t work

This scenario is easy to solve but the user often does not isolate what they are exactly doing so it can cause you to waste time. Please pay attention to the scenario in the “Check the following items” section.

Reprint means to print a copy of the same bill.

Redo means you CHANGED something on the original bill and want to print it again.

Check the following items:

  • You want to Reprint a copy of the exact same bill for a PIDN.  Go to the PIDN / View Bills.  Locate the bill you want and click print or email.

  • You changed something about the bill you already printed like a name, address or charge.  You must delete the original bill and create the bill again.

  • You want to change some bill template text and reprint the bill.  That is ok.  Change the template text and go to the PIDN / View bills and print it or reprint the batch of bills.

  • You want to reprint the bill but it has been paid.  You can reprint it but based on the template, the balance due on the bill will probably be zero.

If the above instructions do not solve your issue then contact support and the ticket will be elevated.
