Clerk and Master Instructions

Modified on Fri, 17 Mar, 2023 at 11:57 AM

Clerk and Master is an easy process that is unique to Tennessee. This is a delinquent process that will create an export sorted by Tax Year, Real or Personal, County Code and whether there is a bankruptcy on an account so that it can be imported into the Clerk and Master software. It also marks the accounts as not being able to take payments in iGovServices.

On the black navigation bar located at the far left of your iGovServices software locate Utility / Data Export / Clerk and Master

The screen asks you to fill out what data you are exporting. In this case the Tax Year is 2023, the type is Personal, a County Number must be entered and choose whether there is a Bankruptcy if either Yes or No.

Then it produces reports and an export file to send.

The last step, it marks the PIDN'S as sent to Clerk and Master so you can't take a payment against them.
