When a Credit Card payment is processing, it is possible on occasion for the payment to not update in iGov. For example, if a customer closes the window before the process is complete. In that case the payment is using in Forte but not in iGov.
If a payment is missing in iGov but it is on your Forte report then you need to locate the PIDN associated with the payment so it can be posted in iGov.
Log into Forte virtual terminal
On the left you can SEARCH
Then you enter a date range and pick re tax in the drop down
The screen will show you all the payments you have processed. Just click on the name (hyperlink) to see the details.Payment details show up. Scroll to the bottom and there are the PIDN of each charge line. This is exactly what Lindsey needs. This is the only place forte lets us put the PIDN to link the parcel to the payment.
Locate that PIDN in igov and process the payment as an Offline Credit Card payment.
